Beim Niro müsste doch durch Anzeige erkennbar sein, wann von Rekuperation auf "Scheibe/Abrieb" umgeschaltet wird?
Yes, that´s what interests me too! Where to see it and how to feel it with the foot............

There are of course two ways to lower the speed of a car: using the brake pedal and lifting the gas pedal (+ changing to a lower gear....).
On the Niro they somehow work together - by lifting the gas pedal your start the regeneration process and thereby start lowering the speed.
The same thing happens when you brake.
I for one, can´t be sure at what times the brakes really set in when you press the brake pedal, or if the regeneration is responsible for the lower speed - except for a very powerful pressure on the pedal of course.
Any views on this anyone?
I need the same help as you ! I haven´t heard the virtual engine sound either...... could (as you say) potentially create a very dangerous situation....
Wir haben heute bei einem Niro das apple car play aufgespielt.
Erfahrungen?
Wieviel Daten werden da so gezogen ?
I drove 250 km today with my iPhone as a WiFi Hotspot and it consumed 10Mb - I can live with that to be able to access speed cameras, weather forecast and POIs!
Browser wechseln??
Jedenfalls vermute ich stark, dass das nicht am Mac liegt
No, it´s nothing wrong with the Mac...... it´s the browser!
I am a long time Mac user and I have a long time ago realised that Safari isn´t loved by all webmasters (especially those who work with Windows)
I tried your link (on my MacMini and MacBook Air 13" on Sierra) with both Firefox and Chrome and they both worked OK!
Deswegen wäre es im Taxi Betrieb wichtig, die Zündung an zu lassen. Dann wird die 12V Batterie von der Li-Ion Batterie nachgeladen.
That sounds terrific!
Are you sure?
In the Swedish KIA-forum I am a member of, a Niro taxi owner/driver has given us his experiences with his car so far.
http://www.kiacarclub.se/viewtopic.php?f=131&t=4371
If your Swedish isn´t what it used to be, I´ll tell you what he writes.
On the whole he is very satisfied with the Niro and in the 25000 km he has driven so far, the consumption has been around 4,5 to 5 l /100 km, no matter what conditions he has driven in.
Since he got the Niro, the temperatures haven´t gone over +5C in Stockholm and he believes that his figures might go down, when the temperatures rises.
His customers often believes that they are going in a "very expensive car". "It is as silent as a premium car" and "the comfort in the back seat is better than in a lot of other cars" are some of the comments the customers have given him.
He also comments on the Niros ability to handle the snow chaos in Stockholm and he finds it extremely good and shares a video on that:
http://tinyurl.com/zamvray
His comment to the video: only an "über driver" can reach his goal today
He has had some trouble with the 12V battery though (a problem some of us here have commented on before):
"Somehow I have managed to drain the battery and couldn't start the car."
His conclusion is that he often has his car idling with the stereo, ACC and lights on.
My comment to this is that the 12V battery issue has to be taken very seriously by KIA. If not it could ruin KIAs reputation a lot!
I haven´t so far had any problems, but know by my own experience what cold can do to a battery!
I don´t really trust the boot battery - I tested its capacity before Christmas and wasn´t too happy with the result!
I tested after a 400 km drive after which the battery should be fully loaded, but it wasn´t! Enters the CTEK!
And my login name (fullkoll) means "in full control" in Swedish
Are you Working for CTEK?
No, not really - just proud of the engineering that takes place in Dalarna (Dalecarlia)........
Unfortunately they are manufactured somewhere else......... Ch***.....
