    That happened to me on my first ride home with the new Niro.......
    I stopped in the middle of an october-dark wood for "natural causes" and when I returned to the car to continue driving the car wouldn´t move.


    It took some trial and error seconds for me to understand that the correct OK-sound should be heard before driving :cursing:
    Sometimes even now, I make the mistake of leaving the gear stick in D instead of P when I park and naturally the car will not accept that the next day when I am in a hurry to get away - even if it played the OK sound :thumbdown:

    I had my Apple Carplay installed today and that update was copied onto an SD-card - took around 20 minutes and was after that removed.
    Then the mechanic put the new navigation software SD-card into the SD-slot and left it there.


    I naturally tried ACP om my way home and the only strange thing I found was that the ACP-navigation via Apple Maps didn´t work. "No internet connection", even though I had mobile data 4G activated and Siri (who specifically asked for Internet access .......) worked OK.


    There could of course be a beginner´s mistake

  • WiFi via iPhone - connect and re-connect automatically?

    I use my iPhone to connect to Internet for TomTom life and that works fine - I set my iPhone to Internet sharing and it works very well.


    But......... every time I turn of the engine (for a break for example) it does not automatically re-connect the wifi - even if I still have Internet sharing on the phone activated.
    To get it working, I have to turn off and then again turn on the Internet sharing on the phone and after a while it works again.


    Is this normal procedure for you iPhone owners?


    I thought it would re-connect automatically as the Bluetooth does :cursing:

    Do you know if there is / will be an update to Predictive Energy Control and Coasting Guide for the present Niro?
    The US/Canadian Niro released now, seems to have it already installed........
