I haven´t used Niro´s navigation much, but I will in the summer, when me and my wife go to Germany -as we always do for some weeks every summer.
I have for the last 3-4 years used my HERE app on my iPhone and it works OK and has most of the necessary functions, but I am anyway looking forward to Niro´s bigger screen of course.
Of the things Tom Tom offers, I am most interested in the traffic info and the POIs. So......
Does the traffic info warn about "Staus" and "Stock in der Verkehr" on its own, or do you have to constantly check that yourself?
Do you get suggestions about alternative routes if there are traffic jams? If so- by voice or on the map?
Are the traffic camera warnings working OK?
The little I have been trying the POIs, I was asked to write what POI I was searching for - are there no easier way to find restaurants, parking, hotels..... instead of having to write? In the HERE map you just have to press some buttons for that. It gives you about 10 options: Parking, Petrol, Taxi, Restaurants.....
How would you rate the quality of the POIs?
